A while back I wrote telling you that my portfolio on the virtual stock exchange had eased up in value to over 6 million imaginary dollars. It dropped back down in value shortly after I had made that announcement, but not by much, say 1/2 a million. I can only guess at why this happened. Perhaps the real stock market as a whole hicuped and brought everything down with it, or maybe my choice of companies to invest in left a little bit to be desired. Anyway you look at it, I had a difficult time raising the bar above where I was.
The thing is, I probably have been doing a bit better than the average investor. Mostly because I have been willing to keep my issues mobile. Staying with a rule of selling when the losses grew to be over 10% of the total invested.
I am going to be including (in a readable format) a list of investments in my imaginary portfolio on my page in the virtual stock exchange.
Til then, I sincerely hope you are weathering the storms of your life well.
